October 2005  University of Arkansas Campus

Shannon is our oldest daughter, and she and David started dating in high school and continued through college.  Shannon graduated from the University of Arkansas Magna Cum Laude in May 2006. David graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2007, and is finishing a second degree. They will head off next fall for graduate school - David has been accepted into the PhD music theory programs at two of the top colleges in the world!

We shot Shannon and David's engagement portrait on the UA campus on a lovely fall day - great light, not too cool, and lovely fall colors as backdrop.!

Spring 2006

Shannon picked her dress in one session after trying on only a dozen or so designs.  We shot her bridal portrait at a friend's home, and at Carnall Hall on the UA campus.

June 25, 2006  Magnolia Gardens, Springdale, Arkansas

When Shannon told us she was engaged we made only one request - don't pick a Saturday in June!  She compromised and they chose a Sunday in June!!  All in all worked out very well.  It was a beautiful, cool, dry day - a rarity in June in Arkansas!  Dana and I shot the preparations and most of the reception, and our friend and wonderful photographer Terrell Rohrbach photographed the ceremony and part of the reception.
